stop daily at the Avoriaz cable car station and there is a public
covered car
park 30 meters away.

On the top of the hill, you can see the ski resort of Avoriaz, and the top of the cable car.
The chalet is on the bottom of the ski pistes of Avoriaz. You are in the wildlife, the forest and the big trees are very beautiful in winter when thy are covered of snow. The name of the place where is the chalet is "les Covagnes", that's means in old Morzinois language "big trees". Your kids would enjoy to play in the big space around the chalet, they can learn ski, play luge, or build an igloo. You can see the balcony and a part of the terrace with the barbecue and the fountain. You are alone in the snow and the wildlife in a typical rustic wooden chalet. The ultimate hideway of Morzine. The way of access to the chalet, from the main road, you are alone in the middle of fields full of flowers. You will enjoy to drink your aperitive on the terrace with fresh water from the fountain, during you T Bone is cooking on the barbecue. My kids enjoy to play with water, and yours ? Another view of the terrace, the stairs get up to the bedroom "forest". Vast space around the chalet is an ideal play-ground for the children, where they can have fun in safety. The ground terrace , and the barbecue are perfect for aperitifs, or romantic dining looking out at a wonderful view of this quiet valley. This panoramic view (stitched and deformed) gives you a 360° picture around the chalet. The furniture is handmade by local artist. You will particularly appreciate the cosy comfort and the unique ambiance of this quaint wooden chalet especially when you light the traditional wood burning stove. over 600 km of ski slopes await you.
The cottage is located in the middle of a snowfield, on the ski
slope.
You can easily reach the ski lifts of the station of Avoriaz located at less than 200 meters away. - For the others, The imposing framework of the valley of the
tiles quarries, surrounded by mountains and fir trees, will be the starting point of walks in mountain. Vast space around the chalet is an ideal play-ground for the children, where they can have fun in safety.
The ground terrace , and the barbecue are perfect for aperitifs, or romantic dining looking out at a wonderful view of this quiet valley.
In the daytime in winter, the free shuttle bus will transport you to the centre of Morzine, where you will find all animations and conveniences of a great winter sports resort.
In the evening, you can dine and amuse yourself in Avoriaz (the cable car functions until midnight), and why not make the unforgettable experience of skiing or sledging down the slope to the chalet at moonlight. - And after ski? You will particularly appreciate the
cosy comfort and the unique ambiance of this quaint wooden chalet especially when you light the traditional wood burning stove. Combine this special atmosphere with the modern conveniences of this fully equipped chalet, which we recently renovated in 1994 ( taking care to preserve its original wooden character and charm).
The wood furniture is hand made by a local artist. After your stay you will leave with very good memories of your holiday. You are right beside Avoriaz, but you save approximately 25% compared to the price of hiring in the Avoriaz resort, and you also have more space, garden, charm, comfort and peace.
