Morzine, Avoriaz, les Gets, and les portes du Soleil are very good places to ride in mountain bike.
The 24 lifts carry you easily to the to of the mountain, for beautiful rides, along  380 kilometres of slopes.

 

The downhill piste for mountain bike of
Le Pléney

For the best bikers, you can perform and measure you with the worlds champions, on this piste opened from June to September.
Opening information +33 / 04 50 79 00 38. 

Length 3250 m- Drop 524 m - This slope was used for the words championships, its is quick and step.
Access by the cable car of Le Pléney.
Downhill you can wash your bike.

Summer  piste of  luge  Le Pléney

  • Regular, length 830 m, Drop 150 m, incline18%.
  • Beginner, length 900 m, Drop 150 m, incline 16.5%.

Opened in summer from  10AM to 12AM and 2PM to 6 PM.

The Portes du soleil offered you 380 km of slopes and path between  France and Swiss.  24 lifts are opened to get up.
The lifts are generally opened every day between June 30th to September 16th from 9AM to 5 PM.
If you want to realise the round trip of Les Portes du Soleil, the detailed map for mountain bike/FFC (110 km) is available in every tourism office.
During your Promenade, you can follow the boards above.

Length 14.6 km.

There are official postcard available at the Tourism Office that you stamp at the start and the end of the road of Avoriaz and who gives you your climbing time.

Prices starts at 15€/ people /half day, and  23€ full day. If you book a chalet or an apartment from this website, you benefit of special prices for renting a mountain bike.
